When things praised for non-sexualized female character designs almost always means female characters present in a masc or androgynous way, it comes off as if "masculine = normal" and "feminine = sexual".
"Feminine" doesn't have to begin and end with "bikini armor". It's possible for a feminine wardrobe to look both elegant and dignified.
On the flip side, masc women being treated as completely nonsexual entities just because they're masc still centers a perspective of a presumed straight male audience.
